Course overview

With an MSc in Engineering (Technology Based Business Development) you will be able to solve complicated technological issues, design and implement technological products and systems in a societal context.

The study programme widely combines theory with praxis: Two days a week you will join theoretical lectures and tutorials. The remaining 3 days you will work in your mentor company with subject areas related to the semester theme or concentrate on self-studies.

The mentor solution that will associate you with a mentor company, which you will work closely with throughout the study programme. This means that you will solve tasks in relation to your studies and you will try out theories, models, concepts, etc. compared to real practical problems in your mentor company. In this way you will get plenty of opportunities to confront theory with praxis during your studies.

The study programme has duration of two years and is a part of Aarhus University’s Research Unit for Innovation and Business Development. Please note that all teaching is in English.

The teaching is research based and a professor and a number of research lecturers will be attached to the MSc programme.
