Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Degree of Engineering in Computer Science, or a degree in a related field. All degrees must be equivalent to at least 180 higher education credits.

The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English.

Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.

If the original documents are not in one of the Nordic languages, English, French or German an official translation into English must be made.

It is required that you send verified copies of the entry qualification documents directly to the university by postal mail. Important! Never send original documents by post!

Accepted proof of proficiency: Cambridge English, IELTS or TOEFL

IELTS: Score 6.5. No module under 5.5.
TOEFL (Paper-Based): Score 575+. The written test must be at lest 4.5 (scale 1-6).
TOEFL (Internet-Based): Score 90+. The written test must be at least 20 (scale 0-30).
CAE or CPE - passed.

Course overview

The program focuses on the design and development of innovative digital media services and systems, such as, social media, mobile applications, and digital games.

The student will learn about technologies and concepts relevant for developing this type of systems, which are typically complex and include distributed intelligent components as well as sophisticated user interaction. In a number of design and implementation projects, you will learn how these technologies can be applied to develop cutting-edge digital media applications. In addition, you will learn about cross-disciplinary project management and how to commercialize your ideas.

There are many opportunities for M.Sc. graduates from this program. For instance, you will be well suited to work with development of novel digital media applications in cross-disciplinary teams.
