Course overview

The International Maintenance Management programme offers you the opportunity to specialize in the maintenance of the world’s most awe-inspiring systems and assets. When a system is very large and complex, good maintenance also becomes more difficult. A refinery, airport or hospital cannot be shut down during a maintenance check. After all, if something went wrong, the consequences would be disastrous.

Correct maintenance also prolongs the working life of components and contributes to the sustainable use of materials and natural resources, to innovation and to cost cutting. International Maintenance Management focuses on more than technology alone; you are also trained in management and negotiating skills.

In addition to the regular lessons, guest lectures by managers in international business, excursions and visits to companies, practical assignments and work placements provide relevant practical experience and real-life challenges

Career opportunities

Due to the high demand for graduates with combined technical, business and management skills, you can step into a variety of sectors: aviation, energy, shipbuilding and shipping, or process engineering. Maintenance manager/engineer/advisor, project leader or asset manager for aircraft, wind turbine parks, medical equipment or water purification systems are just a few examples of job opportunities
