Course overview

The MSc Wine business programme is being designed to prepare graduates for the challenge of operating a successful wine business in today's global market. Since 1988, the Burgundy School of Business has been shaping the wine sector's business culture by preparing graduates with a specialised course on the wine and spirits sector. In response to the growth of interest and continuing development of the Specialised Master in Wine and Spirituous beverages programme, the Burgundy Business School has responded to the demanding needs of graduate students and the wine sector by offering a complementary Masters programme, the MSc Wine Business. For graduate students seeking to assume a managerial position within the wine sector, or those applicants with accepted equivalent qualifications, this programme offers you the chance to improve your career opportunities.

The MSc Wine Business programme is being developed in response to feedback from members of the wine sector. The strength of the teaching programme is reflected in this commercial orientation, with particular emphasis on the development of marketing and financial skills, as required by entrepreneurial professionals.

A graduate of the MSc Wine Business will be prepared to advance the interests of their employer by utilising the appropriate business theory, and implementing cutting edge practices. Graduates of this programme will need to be able to succeed within an international context. The programme offers applicants an understanding of the requirements of the global market by exposing the student to a diversity of cultural experiences and an understanding of the intricacies of international commerce. The MSc Wine Business will draw upon the expertise of an international network of speakers, professionals and academics with an in-depth knowledge of the wine sector. In the increasingly competitive wine sector, managers of tomorrow must be able to create and develop added value to their offer. The MSc Wine Business will provide graduates with those skills from their very first day on the job!

ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE TO MSc STUDENTS
