Course overview

This course is designed to give you the skills and knowledge that can be applied to a wide range of animal management industries, particularly in the areas of animal conservation, health, welfare and science. There is emphasis on project work that concentrates of specific areas of individual interest. This degree is validated and awarded by Harper Adams University College.

Full time suidy involves college-based classes, usually for three days each week, with the remainder of the week as self study time. Part-time study involves infilling to the full time timetable and thus varies depending on the modules taken.

If you are successful on the course you could progress to postgraduate study at MSc or PhD level. Employment opportunities include management roles in conservation projects, animal collections, animal health and welfare industries.
